• 1/4 cup warm milk

• 1 egg

• 2 tbsp vegetable oil

• 1 teaspoon salt

• Stuffing:

• 1 pound ground pork

• 1/2 cup chopped cabbage

• 1/4 cup diced onion

• 2 cloves of minced garlic

• 2 tbsp soy sauce

• 2 tbsp seafood sauce

• 1 tablespoon sake (rice wine)

• 1 tablespoon of sugar

• 1 tsp cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon white pepper

procedure:

1. Mix flour, sugar and yeast in a large bowl .

2. In another bowl, mix lukewarm water, warm milk, eggs, vegetable oil and salt .

3. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry mixture, stirring continuously until a soft dough forms.

4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.

5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

6. Prepare the filling while the dough is fermenting. In a large pan, cook ground pork until browned. Drain excess fat.

9. When the dough comes together, cut it out and divide it into 16 equal parts.

10. Roll the dough and make it round and flat. Place 2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each circle.

11. Fold the edges of the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal the bun.

12. Place the meat buns in the steamer and steam for 15 minutes or until fluffy.
